I designed and made this costume for the character Robert Parks in the performance of my Buried Stories which is a story set in the Victorian Cemetery of Glasgow Necropolis. which sits on a small hill near to Glasgow Cathedral. My costume helped to explore and re-tell my performance narrative through its shape and form, materials and embellishments.

My design for Robert Park’s costume fabric and embellishments were  inspired by monuments roots and ivy found in the Necropolis. Linking in with the theme of sustainability the costume was made using recycled hotel bedsheets.
